nowincolor originated when two brothers, drummer Sam Van Alstine and guitarist Joe Van Alstine, began playing music together in the summer of 2022, with the intent of forming a full band and fleshing out their original songs. Being friends in high school, Joe invited Kyle Vaske to join the band as the bassist. After some time spent searching, a vocalist was found in Kasey Grace, a theater kid posting original songs on Soundcloud at the time. With the full band finally formed in May of 2023, nowincolor began rehearsing and writing songs at The Sauce Factory in downtown Sarasota. nowincolor played their first live show at Oscura in Bradenton, FL in October of 2023. When founding member and drummer Sam moved out of state shortly after, Jack Fletcher joined the band on drums.
 

Since then nowincolor has been playing shows in and around southwest Florida and is currently working on their debut release.
